Privacy information
Your project stays in your hands.
Kerf & Keep calculates cutting plans on your device using its bundled planning code. This page explains local records, the copies you choose to share and this website.
Apple editions are being prepared. This information describes the current app implementation. Updated November 5, 2026.
Projects and local records
This version has no Kerf & Keep account, cloud solver, advertising feature, analytics integration or automatic project uploader.
Your project can include names, measurements, materials, quantities, costs, notes, plans and stock history. The local workspace also retains unfinished entries and drafts. Other records can include the previous recovery copy, complete closed inventory epochs, prior libraries saved in SavedLibraries and preserved copies of unreadable saves named unreadable-*.json. Exporting files creates additional copies in locations you choose.
If an earlier build stored a local reference to a Mac project document, that legacy reference may remain. The current build does not create or use those bookmarks. Starting a new job or deleting an export does not erase every retained copy. This version has no single in-app action that deletes all these records.
Documents and backups
Opening a supported project or backup imports a local working copy. Save and autosave update the copy on this device; they do not update the file you opened. Use Back up workspace to export a portable copy. An explicit export can replace a destination you choose. Your chosen export or backup provider may synchronize its files under its own settings.
The app does not operate a shared cloud stock library or a cross-device stock lock. Background saving is limited by the time the operating system allows. Keep separate portable backups of work you need to preserve.
Exporting, sharing and printing
Project JSON, CSV rows and PDF packets or labels contain selected project information. If you save, share or print, your chosen storage provider, app, service or printer receives that content and may process or retain it under its own settings and policies. Review an output before sharing it.
The app does not automatically upload projects to the developer. Apple platform services and your chosen file or sharing providers may use network connections. Local planning does not mean every service on your device is offline.
Support email
Support is by email outside the app. If you email idiego612@gmail.com, Israel Diego receives your sender and contact information, message and attachments you send. Email services also process delivery information.
The app does not automatically send support messages or attach projects or diagnostic logs. Send a brief, sanitized description or relevant dimensions. Do not send passwords, private project archives or customer backups.
This website
These information pages have no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or external font requests. They are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub handles website requests and may process information such as IP addresses, browser or device details and request times under its privacy statement. Loading this website is separate from running the app's local planner.
